Vernessa Pollard

Biography

Vernessa Pollard is a Partner at DLA Piper and Chair of its FDA practice in Washington, D.C., advising life sciences, medical device, and technology companies on FDA regulatory and compliance matters. She previously served as Associate Chief Counsel for Enforcement in the FDA’s Office of Chief Counsel, representing the agency in regulatory, litigation, and enforcement matters involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, clinical trials, manufacturing, and product safety. Vernessa also chairs the Food and Drug Law Institute Board of Directors and holds a B.A. from Howard University and a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
